Before YourHQ had a single client, it had one build. Mine.
I was deep in my Master of Technological Futures, learning to code, obsessed with the intersection of storytelling and digital space, and quietly becoming convinced that owning your corner of the internet wasn't optional. It was essential.
So I built my own. DreamStorm. A home for the brand story I'd been carrying around without anywhere to put it.
Something clicked.
The process of translating a person, a vision, a set of values into a digital space that actually feels like them. I loved it. Not just the craft of it. The meaning of it. The way a well-built site can say: this is real, this person is serious, this is worth your time.

Rumours On Rust
Café & Hospitality · Whangārei, NZ
Katie was launching a café during one of the busiest seasons of her life. She needed a site that matched the warmth and intention she'd put into the physical space, without it becoming another thing on an impossible list. We captured her story, raided her existing content, and built something that feels as good as the coffee tastes.

Reuben needed to look legitimate online, fast, without getting stuck in file uploads, copy briefs, or platform headaches. We went through his Facebook, pulled what we needed, and had a draft ready before he'd figured out Google Drive.
